About the College
With the ambition to rejuvenate the ancient medical science of India, the Hon’ble founder Shikshan Prasarak Mandal established the institution in the academic year 2000.
Lt. Sunil Ramshingji Chunawale Ayurved College, Chikhli is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and is recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine and the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.
The college campus includes well-equipped laboratories, a dissection hall, spacious demonstration rooms, museums, classrooms, and a modern library with internet facilities. The institute is supported by experienced and dedicated faculty members who adopt a research-oriented and student-centric teaching approach.
he institution also maintains a rich herbal garden with more than 300 species of medicinal plants, including some rare and endangered varieties. A well-equipped pharmacy is available for the preparation of classical Ayurvedic formulations using modern equipment. The college library is spacious, featuring a large reading hall and a well-organized collection of over 12,000 books related to Ayurveda and allied sciences. It also subscribes to important scientific journals and periodicals.
The college operates a 60-bed Ayurvedic hospital. Its OPD and IPD services attract a large number of patients, providing students with excellent clinical exposure and hands-on training.
