Kalidas Din (commemorating the ancient Sanskrit poet and dramatist Kalidas) was marked by activities that celebrate Sanskrit heritage. As Sanskrit is the primary language of classical Ayurvedic Samhitas (Charaka, Sushruta, Vagbhata), students enacted Sanskrit plays, read kavya recitals, and learned about Sanskrit philology.
