Lt. Sunil Ramsinhji Chunawale Ayurved College celebrated International Yoga Day 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students, faculty members and staff. The programme promoted yoga as a practical path towards physical fitness, mental well-being and emotional balance.

A Meaningful Start to the Celebration

The programme commenced with a guided yoga session led by experienced instructors. Participants were introduced to a balanced sequence of preparatory movements, yoga asanas, breathing practices and meditation. Care was taken to encourage mindful participation and proper practice according to individual comfort and ability.

NSS Unit of Lt. Sunil Ramsinhji Chunawale College Organizes Successful Blood Donation Camp

Lt. Sunil Ramsinhji Chunawale Ayurved College, in coordination with its active National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, organized a voluntary Blood Donation Camp. The camp was a key social initiative aimed at addressing local blood supply shortages and promoting community responsibility.

High Participation and Civic Spirit

The campaign witnessed an overwhelming response from BAMS scholars, teaching faculty, hospital staff, and local citizens of Chikhli. Over 80 donors voluntarily donated blood. The blood collection process was handled by a certified blood bank team under strict clinical guidelines, ensuring safety, hygiene, and proper storage.

Spreading Health Awareness

Alongside blood collection, clinical staff and NSS volunteers conducted counseling sessions. They explained the health benefits of regular blood donation, such as reducing cardiovascular risks, stimulating new blood cell production, and performing basic health diagnostics. Leaflets highlighting emergency contact details and blood groups were also distributed.
